At SRM Foundation, our mission is to support underprivileged cancer patients and their families, providing essential services such as food, medical guidance, accommodation, and medicines. As a secular, non-political, non-government, and non-profit charitable trust, we have dedicated ourselves to the virtue of Shri. Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil, working tirelessly since 2004 to improve the lives of those in need.

The rainy season presents unique challenges for many, particularly for impoverished and homeless cancer patients who journey from distant places to seek treatment. Often, these patients and their families find themselves on footpaths near hospitals, struggling not only with their illness but also with the harsh weather conditions.

To address this pressing issue, SRM Foundation launched the Umbrella Donation Campaign. While items like umbrellas, tarpaulins, and raincoats may seem like everyday necessities to some, they are, in reality, a luxury for those struggling to make ends meet.
