Cancer is a disease that occurs when cells divide uncontrollably and spread into nearby tissues. It is caused by changes to DNA, which are also called genetic changes. These changes occur in sections of DNA called genes.

SRM Foundation's generous contribution of a Microscope and Syringe Pumps to Tata Memorial Hospital is a meaningful step towards enhancing cancer care. The donation, acknowledged with gratitude by Tata Memorial, will significantly support the hospital in providing quality treatment to over 45,000 new cancer patients annually. Tata Memorial, a leading institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, offers world-class cancer care, with over 60% of patients receiving subsidized or free treatment. SRM Foundation's commitment to this cause underscores the importance of community support in overcoming barriers to healthcare access, ensuring that even the most vulnerable patients receive the best care possible.

Our support, based on need, includes accommodation, nutritious food, counselling,
rehabilitation & monetary support. Our Tea/ Volunteers share their mobile nos. as
well, ensuring that the patient & their loved ones are never left in any disarray.
